Waterworld Wonders
At Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi, two vibrant events are bringing double the splash this April. The highly anticipated Yas Ladies returns on 25 April, offering a women-only adventure every Friday from 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM. This female-exclusive event allows access to over 40 exhilarating rides and attractions in complete privacy. Guests can enjoy upbeat DJ sets and live performances by talented female artists, creating an energetic and inclusive environment.
Adding to the excitement, Kabayan Nights makes its seasonal return on 26 and 27 April, celebrating Filipino culture under the stars. From 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM, the park comes alive with karaoke sessions, traditional delicacies including Chicken Adobo and Beef Stew, and LED-lit water rides set to live music. The event offers a unique blend of heritage, entertainment, and aquatic adventure in one immersive evening.
Hollywood on Yas
Over at Warner Bros. World™ Yas Island, guests can take a step back in time with the Hooray for Hollywood celebration, running until 11 May. This limited-time event transforms Warner Bros. Plaza into a vintage movie set, complete with themed performances and surprise appearances from iconic characters including Bugs Bunny, Lola Bunny, and Dorothy and Glinda from The Wizard of Oz.
Throughout the day, guests can enjoy live renditions of classic Hollywood hits and capture glamourous moments with costumed characters roaming the park. One of the standout attractions is the “Decorate Your Own Director’s Megaphone” workshop, available daily from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Children can customise their own megaphones, giving them a taste of cinematic creativity while engaging in hands-on fun.
Spring Beneath the Sea
At SeaWorld® Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, the SeaBloom Celebration has debuted its inaugural spring programme, running until 11 May from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM daily. The event combines education, nature, and art across eight immersive zones, offering a vibrant way to explore the marine world.
Young guests can participate in the SeaBloom Curiosities Booklet journey, collecting stamps and earning a special reward from Sakina the dugong upon completion. Alongside this interactive experience, visitors can enjoy seasonal sand art, character meet-and-greets in festive costumes, and stunning views of marine life in its springtime splendour.
Notable seasonal highlights include observing flamingo chicks in the Tropical Ocean, penguin hatchlings in Antarctica, and puffins nesting in the Polar Ocean. Additionally, visitors can book SeaWorld Encounters, such as interactive dolphin sessions, up-close otter meetings, and penguin experiences – offering rare, up-close animal interactions.
For younger visitors, MicroOcean offers a safe and exciting space with family-friendly rides and interactive elements. Dining is just as immersive, with options like Umberto’s, serving Italian cuisine by penguin-viewing windows, and Tropical Ocean’s Asian offerings enhancing the oceanic adventure.
Thrill and skill
CLYMB Yas Island Abu Dhabi is turning the excitement up a notch with the return of Ladies Nights, taking place on select Thursdays from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Designed for women seeking adrenaline and achievement, the sessions offer private access to the world’s largest indoor skydiving chamber and record-breaking indoor climbing walls.
Participants can tailor their night with three package options: indoor skydiving, climbing, or a combination of both. Each experience encourages physical challenge and personal empowerment in a safe and welcoming environment. Upcoming dates include 1, 15, and 29 May, with more to follow throughout the season.
